Hi
As you are probably aware for the last few years 5% Ethanol may have been added to pump petrol. There are plans to increase this to 10%.
Ethanol is not good news for our race engines- it affects performance, fuel economy,rots seals and clogs up our carbs fuel pumps etc. It also absorbs water!
There is an online petition to get ethanol banned from petrol pump fuel

Anyone involved in motorsport or classic bikes and cars needs to be aware of this- pehaps the MSA could start a campaign.
