We are moving up at the end of the year and faced with the same dilemma. Went for new as I needed all the extras that come in the box (Battery,holder,and charger Exhaust Radiator)plus the warranty. I also decided to get it fiched at the outset rather than run it for six months and then get it done. Right decision ? only time will tell but at least I should be starting out on a reasonably competitive engine without worrying about its history.
