Wombwell uses a random grid system - which in theory gives you one heat somewhere in front third, another in the middle and 3rd in the rear third of the grid. I agree that it works to develop good overtaking, your genuinely quick driver will use their skill to come through whereas others that can lap quickly but cant overtake get a chance to learn
