I can't see why you have a problem with Qualifying, personally I prefer it, It's what happens in the nationals and I reckon it makes for less carnage as the quicker lads don't end up frustrated behind the slower drivers and end up trying to dive infront of them as soon as the green lights on, causing more carnage in my opinion in the first corners. I also find it quite exciting as a spectator if the circuit has timing boards like GYG,PFI etc. Whether it,s Quali or random grids you'll usually see the quicker lads up front for the finals either way. Just my opinion though. GYG had a driver vote a couple of years ago as the whether they should keep the quali format or go back to random grids, Quali won.
