depends on your budget and how much you want to be involved in the setup etc.
Do you just want to pay your money and turn up with a ready to run kart or do you want to do it all yourself?
Theres pros and cons over both - Best to speak to a team for an idea of costs - one of the best Honda teams out there at the moment that i know of is Ambition.
What is your local track? have a scout around and see who's running there.

I'm doing the father/son thing in our first season - its been a steep learning curve for both mechanic and driver and we're both still learning - its been fun and its been frustrating but he's improving all the time.
