Depends how they plan to do it. Will they do their own mechanic work and transport their kart in a van and maybe sleep in the van?
If so, then maybe Ł1000 per round would be enough.
For a dad & lad wanting to run with a team that supplies all equipment you could be looking at Ł5000 to Ł10000 per round depending on the team and the terms e.g. all damage included in the price or paid extra. Flights would be between Ł200 and Ł400 for two people then allow Ł150 per day for hotel and meals then car hire etc. That alone could come to a Ł1000 or more.
