Dont believe you can repair the broken sensor.

Take care not to over tighten the spark plug.
And cable tie the sensor down to the engine cowel as close to the spark plug as pos. in order to prevent the yellow wire from viberation and flapping in the wind, then they should last ages. We have all been through this one, it does get better once you find out how much they are, somebody was advertising them at 45.00 the other week, might try flea bay?
