As i understand they're both owner driver championships. Which means you need your own kart. They'l both offer testing, i think its like 10mins or something on the day? but as its owner driver im not sure they'l offer tuition. i think you'll have to seek tuition from an outside person/company.
Now i haven't ever raced dmax or c100, but in all honestly i would look at getting my own kart and entering the OEKC. I was looking at getting hold of a Biland SA250, they've got about 30hp, will outrun a max in most circumstances and will last up to 300hours before you even need to strip down the engine. They race these in the oekc, and if set up properly, in other words, not set-up to rag the sh*t out of it, you could probably manage the whole season. I was going to enter it in F6. A championship that runs through the south-east, at buckmore, bayford, lydd, whilton, ellough etc. And i remember someone saying that through the season, he only spent about £150 a race weekend or something ridiculously low like that. The set-up fee's will be costly, it will be in any class you choose, but the running costs of something like a biland are low so you save the money by not spending it on other things that you would in say a rotax like rebuilds etc :) Oh, and they sound epic! Just a thought, Thomas...........
