Hopefully this statement will clear up any issues.

The reason that Protrain have taken the option to change to Tonykart (which i can assure you was not an easy decision at all bearing in mind the loyalty that Protrain and Gary Chapman has shown in the past to Tim and the relationship between the two companies and owners is still very good, and so for good reason do not want the Gillard name being dragged through the mud), is too ensure that as a Team they are giving there customers the best opportunity to get the results they want. At the moment Protrain are not forcing the current drivers in the team to buy a new Tonykart they are simply giving the option for the drivers to decide what kart they would prefer to run, obviously has the season progresses and moves on into next year the aim will be to having a Tonykart mounted awning with new drivers staring off on the Tonykart.

Frag 10 i do not believe that you can say the Gillard kart just isnt fast enough because if you look at recent results the Gillard is quick in alot of classes however there just isnt enough people driving the kart to see the same sort of results you do with the OTK products at super 1 level. At club level the kart is very good with alot of very good results recently.

With any luck this will clear up a few of the questions raised and if not do not hesitate to come in the Protrain Awning and ask.
