I maybe wrong here, but I always thought a 'general' axle wall thivhness was 2mm on the end.

If this is the case then how illegal are all axles reading this rule at 'all points'?

Why I say this is where the keyway flat is, this must surely remove 0.3mm away from the axle thikness at this point!

I will definatly be measuring a axle tomorow and I do hope out axles are alot more than 2mm thick!

If I remember about 10 years ago PCR used to sell a 50mm axle (I think was called mx) which had a 1.6mm wall thickness and this was banned around that time due to minimum wall thinckness being 2mm by the rules
