Important to use the right fluid with carb bodiesw as they can go black in the wrong solution and it's difficult to remove.

Make sure that things are fully immersed or you will get a black ring around the exposed part.

Don't leave in the fluid for much more than the recommended time and take it out and rinse and WD40 parts to remove water.

Saw one last weekend that must have been left in ultrasonic fluid and never dried out.

It looked like the inside of a WC cistern! All covered in verdigris.
