Not an unusual problem.

The Mycron isn't that waterproof and when it gets wet, that particular switch seems to suffer, it may be the case moulding lets water in on that switch actuator rubber more.

The water corrodes the dome inside the switch and the only way to turn it on is disconnect/reconnect the battery.

The switch is easy to replace if you're able to use a fine soldering iron, if not you'll wreck the board.

The part is only just under a £1.00.
