personally i drive with my hands lower on the wheel too.the reson is,i find i can push on the wheel mid corner and push myself into the seat(that goes for breaking too)and so stay more stable in the kart.i dont find im pushing in the wrong direction at all.i used to drive at the 10 to 2 position and found i was very "army" and drove more like donkey kong
