thanks for the advice ian, we have not been karting for that long so any you wish to give is much appreciated , i got my terminology wrong, i just noticed last weekend that i had to widen the track to its max and wondered if it was possible to improve lap times by using a longer axle or longer rear hubs and what the permissable width was,
one of the first things someone said to me at a track when rattling all the components on our kart was "do you always run with so much grip" so being novices this is what you take in!
