Yeah Danlee was at GYG at the weekend the thing would not pull sounded flat, I did change the carb re-kited swaped again etc etc nothing would work I even saw my lad getting on the carb going up the hill it was that bad he's never done that before!!! Here's another story..... Went out for a walk with the family yesterday on our way back we called in at the local pub for a drink before dinner. To cut a long story short I got talking to a guy who I've seen in the village often turns out he run's a 2 stroke raceteam and a collector of 2 stoke 80's bikes RD's? I started to tell him about my lad he said "hang on pal you diddnt buy your petrol from the garage down the road?"
Yes! He just laughed and shook his head "strip down clean down re-kit and re-build, and don't ever buy your race fuel from there ever again I've tested the fuel as I've had problems with my bike's when I've filled up from there. Go to the new shell garage near town and buy some Vpower"
Apparently it's got a much longer shelf life?
The screw's on my carbs have started to cam-out and I could see a groove near to the tip of the fast jet on the needle. Also Lee kellet has been kind enough to invite me round to his house to have a look at the carbs and get them on the dyno.
BTW it's in my "watched" list, good luck with that, who know's I may have a punt myself, at least I know the carb will work.
