Hiya Alex

The arguement that owner driver is more expensive is possibly closer than you think as when you have finished racing you still have an "asset" to sell where as hire karting you will have nothing. Its similar to buying a house/ car or renting one.

On the sticker question its one of the things that has always ammused me that the main manufacturers charge so much for the sticker kits which are in effect nothing more than advertising their company. The stickers are a real personal choice issue and I know there have been some really good threads about this is the past with some companies that do aftermarket sticker kits getting great reviews.

Also with hire karting you wont have the chance to personalise your kart so if that is important to you then don't go hire karting.
