I took the rear end apart last night on our Gillard (Minimax). I felt that the bearings had minimal play (OK) but seemed to sound a little dry.

How are others dealing with this?

Options I guess are:
1/ Chuck away (but they seem OK apart from the dry sound)
2/ Take the cover plate off and repack with grease and replace the cover (difficult to replace)
3/ take the cover plate off, grease, and leave the cover plate off (Oil every heat Cadet style…Not preferred)
4/ Squirt some oil past the cover plates

Any others or help….Thanks all

Danlee
