lol is there any chance you can get your own column in karting magazine because whatever you are doing you are clearly wasted in it as that was an excellently written piece and very well explained.

I certainly know you are not being horrid its merely a discussion.

I am not disagreeing that in usual circumstances a stickier batch of tyres will be faster.

I am stating that bolting dramatically stickier tyres on to a chassis that was previously set up for harder tyres made it in my experience both harder to driver and slower. I will also accept that with conditioning I may not of found it so hard.

I am still not entirely sold on the notion that at some point Tink returns sprinkles so bad fairy dust and the grip becomes friction or drag slowing laptimes.

I will also question however whether or not on a chassis that is well set up for sticky tyres whether these tyres currently exist or if Tink Fawn and the other fairies have them in development.

Would you agree that for a new driver such as Alex softer and more grippy tyres would be harder to drive and less beneficial for his driver development than learning how to control something that slides and corners/ brakes slower?
