too much grip from the inner rear wheel will cause bogging down

reduce the grip and the engine wont bog down as the tyre is able to slip

its down to the lack of a diff

there will always come a point where you have too much grip

for a given set up, just keep adding grippier tyres and you will get to a point where lap times increase.

change the set up and you can probably reduce the times again. add grippier tyres and the times will increase again. at some point you hit a set up barrier and you are left with too much grip.
