I would just hold on and wait for another reply from a "gillard brakes" knowledgable person. What you are being told to do is using up some of your brake master cylinder travel just to decrease the gap on the pads. What happens as the pads wear down? My thoughts will be the master cylinder wont allow the pads to be applied as its reached the end of its stroke! Think about it for a minute!!! Now do you still want to do that?
