How to measure castor?

I have camber/castor adjusting pills on my chassis and the appear to be able to be set in any position rather than just N, E, S, W.

They also adjust both camber and castor together.

what is the best way to measure the castor as I want to ensure that it is the same both sides?

Could I use one of those angle measuring apps on my phone is i replaced the kinpin with a longer rod and then marked the position of the pill?

Any advice greatly recieved.
