It lasted a lot longer than that when we used it, as for battery time how long are your heats ? you would be out raced and back within an hour ?

You only need it whilst away from van during day as for night time I advise locking all kit away.

Like I said, it's a cheap alternative so if it gets stolen not as greater massive loss as an ip or any other type of camera.

There are other options but it gets costly camera, psu, dvr recorder, monitor, inverter for the power as most recorders are 240 mains down to 19 volts etc etc etc.
