you still fit a clunk on a bottom feed tank.

the inertia of the clunk will always follow the fuel, even upside down.

it makes it harder to clean/replace pipe though.

just make sure you use good fittings that seal and wont get pulled apart easily

theres little advantage tho, assuming the fuel pipe is clear of air that is
