A couple of points here :

o You are perfectly entitled to do whatever you wish with your FR125 motor. You can have it serviced by whomever you like. The point is, you will not be allowed to race it in an MSA class without the seal. Rotax haven't mandated that, the MSA have.

o Regarding the warranty, its commonplace to have seals on products that if broken invalidate the warranty. I have a Seagate Hard Disk in front of me with seals across the screws that hold it together and a note next to them saying 'warranty void if broken'.
