I wonder how long it will be before the Rotax engine and tire con will be against EU law. Currently in all areas of the automotive industry and aviation its against the law to have a monopoly. After reading the internet there has been some serious fines of some very large companies getting fined for monopoly!!.

Why are Rotax parts cheaper in Europe and yet you cannot race the engines or use the tires in the UK. Currently you can buy a new VW Golf in Germany and Register and drive in the UK and you dont even have to have it serviced at VW to comply with the warranty. So what bananna boat are Rotax on?

What every happened to the good days of unwired kart engines?

I think karting should follow this order?

1) cadet - unwired
2) junior tkm - currently unwired
3) senior tkm - currently unwired
4) FKGP - currently unwired
