One way to make it easier is warm it up and then with a drift or screwdriver carefully tap it out with a hammer evenly around the bearing. When putting new ones in ONLY tap them in on the outside of the bearing and using a socket or similar sized block push them in or you will wreck them straight away.Another way is a long bolt and thick washers/or specially made ones that are the same size as the bearings and tighten it up and they will pull in evenly.
