It's easy to damage the transponder if you're not adept at extaditing things out of impossible situations.

Plus, have you got the correct battery, 1 or 3 cells?

I use a drill as a mill in a pillar drill and work it along the line that you draw.

The essential bit is th expose the battery leads without damage so that you have something to solder back on to and remember to mark the polarity of the battery on the resin.
