Hi Kieron, making sure the bleeder has the correct brake fluid in, allow a little fluid to flow through the bleeder by opening the tap at the bottom then close it again. Then, using the correct adaptor, remove the plug and screw the bleeder into your master cylinder and open the tap again. Then go to your caliper and open the bleed nipples and the fluid will slowly start bleeding through. Once fluid is flowing clear and clean, lock off the bleed nipples again then close the tap on the bleeder and remove it. You may need to do the two bleed nipples individually rather than both together. At this point you may need to just top up your master cylinder to make sure it is full before you put the plug screw back in. Your brakes should now be bled. Sometimes, the brake fluid is a little reluctant to flow freely so you may have to give the bleeder a gentle squeeze on the plastic reservoir - careful when you let go though as it can suck air back through. Basically, the bleeder uses gravity to push the fluid through, hence why the plastic reservoir is about 12" high. hope this helps
