The configuration is indeed misleading. The X1, X2,etc. refers to a "multiplier" (or Coefficient as described in the extract from the User Manual, below) and NOT the "stroke"

Alfano Pro V2.
Menu 0.8 : RPM
Configuring the coefficient to display the RPM:
1 Successively press the right button to: >> select: X1, X2, X4, X8.
