I may be wrong, but I very much doubt it, since I assume it would be deemed dangerous.

It used to be quite common practise for cadet dads to start the engine on the dummy grid and lift the rear to rev the engine, but this was very much frowned upon and the persons involved dealt with if caught doing it......so..
