with UK Kart Clubs
But as ever we have plenty of time (4 days) to make sure we get heard!
The Motor Sports Association (MSA) is inviting UK Kart Clubs to attend a series of regional meetings this February to discuss the Karting Green Paper, which was issued by the Kart Sporting Committee in November 2010.
The Green Paper outlines a number of proposals and considerations aimed at helping to shape the future of UK karting. The dates, times and venues of the meetings at which the document will be discussed are as follows:
1 February 2011, 18.00h: Buckmore Park (South East)
2 February 2011, 18.00h: Whilton Mill (Midlands)
6 February 2011, 11.30h: The Athol Palace Hotel, Pitlochry (Scotland)
9 February 2011, 18.30h: The Castle Inn, Castle Combe (South West)
15 February 2011, 18.00h: Three Sisters (North Wales & Northern England)
16 February 2011, 18.00h: Nutts Corner (Northern Ireland)
Kart Committee Chairman and MSA General Secretary, Rob Jones, said: “The Karting Green Paper is high on the agenda of the new Kart Committee, as it represents the foundations upon which the future of karting in the UK will be built. I urge those who wish to relay their thoughts on the document to attend one of our regional meetings, after which a White Paper will be compiled, published, and ultimately submitted to the Motor Sports Council.”
Clubs wishing to send representatives to the meeting in their region should email the names and contact details of those representatives to Andrea.Butt@msauk.org by no later than Friday 28 January 2011.
