We use laser cut blanks of 10mm steel, they are exactly 1 kg each and have a 5/8" hole though the centre to sit on a 5/8" dia pin, my lad only weighed 50 kg when we started so we had 15 on each side of our ms chassis with no problems. You are local to Wigan? The laser company I used us only in Leyland.
