Continuing the earlier thread by Phil Harrison...

I donated a 50mm otk axle for him to test. Type N.

He also got a 30mm solid axle to test

Just to remind anyone who didn't know what his test involved, he applied a 50kg weight to various axles which were suspended the same difference apart as the bearing carriers. The load was applied in the centre. He was surprised to find that the amount the 30mm axles deflected was almost the same, irrespective of the "hardness".

Anyone want to guess before Phil tells us the results? Did the 50mm deflect more or less than the 30mm hollow axles? Did the 30mm solid deflect more or less? Or were they all the same?

Just for fun, no fights please!
