I don't think you can run sprocket protectors with the quick release carrier, so if you're a kerb rider, you would find it a problem.

Also, if you use it on the inboard sprocket, it may give you a problem with the split/cut sprocket not being fully supported.

It's a great idea but only for the people who stay off kerbs and within the white lines, so it may suit pro karting.

Expensive though.
