HKRC has changed the announcement that was given at drivers briefing on the December Race meeting regarding tyre regulations for the 2011 for the Rotax classes as stated in the 2011 MSA Kart Race Yearbook.
From the January Race weekend on the 8th/9th both Vega and Mojo DRY tyres will be allowed. This will be in effect at both the January and February meetings . The Change to Mojo slicks will take effect from the 1st March 2011. Mojo wet tyres are the only make to be used from 1st January 2011. Please ensure you check other MSA regulation changes before the first race meeting concerning rotax and other classes.
