Thanks for all the suggestions.
When I'm on track there is 'some brake' there. When I brake there is some resistance but I don't get any 'feel'. What do I mean?:
If I was racing a smooth track in the dry I could probably get away practicing with it - trail braking into the corners - but any other conditions it's just dangerous.
When I bled the system I had to take the bleed nipples all the way out in order for the fluid to drip out. It didn't flow in the sense it gushed out, but it did drip consistently.
There was something I noticed last night, when I was just re-checking over it - there doesn't appear to be any kind of washer between the bolt and the m'c where you top the fluid off. It almost looks like there is a kind of washer embeded in the top of the M/C.
