A couple of other thoughts

Do you have a friend with the same system, if so try your caliper on their system. if it works ok, it points to your master cylinder and or hoses. If it doesn't you have a problem with your new caliper.

Does the brake work on track at all, ie ok for two or three bends then goes off. This would suggest heat causing the problem.

If you press the pedal hard and hold it, does it go to the floor or stay hard. Seals
