I suppose it's a bit like FFord. People want the sexy slicks and wings fomulae - a bit like Max with the TaG, radaitors clutches etc (brought in and advertised extreemly well when all TKM had was DD).
You've only got to look back about 10years or so when most clubs had A and B finals for TKM (some even A, B and C) but Talko had unfortunately been cought napping when Max came on the schene.
I have to say though that Alan is doing some pretty positive things with the class and it appears to be on the rise again. However, those in Max have so much money tied up that I doubt many will move classes. There does seem to be a growing interest in JTKM so maybe in a couple of years the class could be back up to good numbers - unless of course the radical ideas that the Green Paper are proposing scupper the good work by our only British kart engine manufacturer.
