I was in the same dilema about TKM K4S or Open. I initially decided TKM 4S, but then after speaking to a few people and going along to watch (unfortunately after buying a second hand TKM), I decided Open was the way forward. I've always raced in 'sealed' engine formulas before and have always enjoyed the equality that brings and that's what pushed me towards TKM 4S initially. The reason I changed my mind is that I'm now in my early 40s and out for a bit of fun (although make no mistake, I'm still out there to win!) and I just thought I would be more at home with the Open competitors.
