Super one series ltd (incidentally) are registered with the office of the data controller for marketing purposes and can share personal information to others for this purpose.
So in order to share your info they must hold a record of your agreement.
If your details are in the public domain there is no case to answer- check google

In reality if any company passes info on in error and in such a small way they would probably be asked to apologise and not do it again-end of.

Annoying-yes
Did anyone die? no
Times are hard, companies need to explore all avenues to survive - perhaps be kind and let it go?
