Most people would be dead if they tried to drive an endurance race in the same manner as a sprint race.

The primary important bits of a brake system is the disk and pad.

If the 'chemistry' isn't right, it won't work.

The disk material affects the performance of the brakes, as steel and cast iron can have different amounts of other metals in them that affect the performance.

If the pads can't clean themselves, they can glaze and then they fade.

If the chemistry is correct, you'll stop.
