I thought the show itself was better than last year, Martin did an excellent job of organising the event.

Where was the MSA. Karters pay their licence fee to the MSA and they cannot be bothered to turn up to the biggest kart show in the UK. Shows what they think of karting.

Maybe I am being uncharitable to the MSA, they probably decided that the ABKC should represent them, after all they advise the MSA and would be more in touch with karters. What a shame that the ABKC did not bother to turn up either. Obviously, they had more important things to do.

The association of kart manufacturers had a stand, but early this afternoon, all it had was a small table with some brochures on it, no sign of anyone who could be asked questions.

The one thing that was really missing in my opinion were the karters themselves. Neither day appeared to be busy and I dont know why.

Was it the time of year, is it too early. There were still clubs racing this weekend, but would they have gone if they had not been racing

Is it that the format of the show has become old hat, do people want some thing new and exciting, such as at a track where you can see the karts running or try out a new chassis.

Is it a cost thing, petrol, food, entrance fee, etc makes for an expensive day out.

I'm sure Martin would appreciate peoples feedback.
