I personally dont use heel stops but i recently had a go of someones kart that did have them fitted and i hated them

I think the main reason was that they were'nt in the correct position for me and it made breaking worse not better so Itpro's idea of clamping is a good,i have no doubt that they could work well but it seems fitting them correctly would be essential
