How far should the pads retract after being pushed on an intrepid 2009 tkm kart. Reason I ask, my boy complained of no brakes at last race meeting, so I bled them and deglazed pad/disc. The brakes were bled a few months ago, but I`m not 100% sure how far they came away from the disc. You can bearly see a gap. He was way off the pace, and I was wondering if when cornering the axle flexes and brings on the brake.
