If you get a renewal in before December for this year you should be ok - they last three years from your last one so 2008, 2009 and this year. Otherwise you have to re-take the ARKS theory I believe - I know it was the same for me when my Car Race National B expired from 1998, I had to re-take the theory part of the ARDS at Thruxton race school. And listen to some geezer blither on to the other students about how he was an ex F1 driver.... which he wasnt, he'd just driven an F1 car - theres a difference...
