itpro,are you presuming that biz have told me it`s too serious to repair?,because that`s certainly not the case,what he said to me was that he was confident that it could be repaired and when i told him the nature of the damage(bearing in mind that i could be miles out either way with my thinking,as i have`nt yet stripped it for an inspection)he informed me that it COULD be a bit more difficult/involved,but having not seen it he could`nt be sure,which i fully understand,i also understand the nature of your concern,to which i fully agree as i obviously don`t want my son involved in anything which could be avoided.
i`m quite willing to email pics to you (when it`s stripped)and you could then give me your opinion,as i could be making a mountain out of a molehill because to my knowledge,i`ve never seen a damaged chassis which has been repaired
