The Honda engine is half the power of the Comer. My son started on one this year and it's been incredibly good for reliability and easy to drive but I'm not sure it's suitable as he gets older. He could do with something more powerful like the Comer. I'm also not sure many people are using the Hondas in MSA meetings. It would surely have to be run as a separate class but I've seen no evidence of that happening.

Before you make a choice, have a look at Easykart. They have a bambino (Easykart 50) which has a very similar engine to the comer and Easykart will be running non-MSA events next year. The engines are tightly controlled so you won't find anyone with expensive modified engines that are starting to creep onto the Comer bambino sceen. However, it's not yet MSA approved.
