David,

I remember being at a round of the Euro Champs at Rye house when there were big British and Italian names BEGGING for qualifying tyres...... and not getting them! I seem to remember rounds of the World Champs where VERY rare tyres were changing hands at higher prices than KARTS!

Like everything else, when things are not in plentiful supply, you can't buy them for love nor money!
