After the fog of Super One two weeks ago, we had some fantastic weather this weekend at the Clay Pigeon Raceway for the eighth round of the CPKC club championship.
Today we officially presented the money raised during the Chris Hart and Robert Memorial event to Cancer Research UK. The amount raised during the day was £3,095 and an additional £525 was personally raised by Senior TKM driver Stuart Wellington who ran in the Bristol Half Marathon last weekend. This added up to an impressive total of £3,620 presented to a very worthy cause today, and a grand total during the last five years of over £14,000.
We were delighted to welcome members of the RAF MSA to Clay Pigeon this weekend. They ran an endurance race on the Saturday evening followed by their own Libre class today. It was great to see them here and we look forward to future visits by them.
Results from the day are available here: http://claypigeon.resultsviewer.co.uk/ListRaces.php?Round=128, and updated championship points are available here: http://claypigeon.resultsviewer.co.uk/ListChampionships.php.
Provisional results of the Summer Challenge are also available at the same page. We hope to get these finalised later this week... watch this space.
Thanks to everybody that came along this weekend... thanks to all drivers, parents, mechanics, marshals and officials who made the weekend a great success.
