I bent my axle last weekend and removing it is proofing somewhat harder than I had hoped. I am unable to remove the vast majority of the bolts fixing the bearing carriers to the chassis hangers because the owner before me has previously destroyed the allen key head of the bolts - so I can't grip anything. The bolts are countersinks, seated in dished washers - ie. the countersink bolt head sits flush with the washer, so there is nothing that a pair of mole grips could clamp on to.

I'd rather not have to drill the bolts out, and I have already hammered a torx head into the damaged recess, but it still isn't shifting. I've been coating copious amounts of gt85 on the little portion of thread which is protruding and allowing it to soak over night, but still no luck. I haven't got access to a welder for a while, so unable to weld anything to the bolts at the moment.

Does anyone know of any alternatives before I go buy an easy-out kit?
